On November 14, 2024, the Pa Sorie Kargbo Foundation awarded a college scholarship grant to one student attending University of Makeni. The President of the Pa Sorie Kargbo Foundation (Trivens Kargbo Sr.) recently spoke with Professor Abdul Charm from the University of Makeni. During their discussion, Professor Charm mentioned that some of his students are experiencing financial difficulties and expressed a need for financial support. The foundation is eager to collaborate with Professor Charm and others to enhance support for underprivileged students through scholarships. Although Mabinty Samura does not meet the eligibility criteria for the foundation’s college scholarship grant, we are happy to provide her with a small grant to assist her.
